How does parking permit work?
A parking permit enables approved drivers to park vehicles in streets with a Resident Parking Scheme signed by parking bays and signs. Only residents are granted a permit, which they have to pay for and present on their vehicle.
What is preferential parking permits?
Preferential parking regulations control the use of on-street parking to help residents with accurate permits and their guests in attaining parking near their homes. A preferential parking permit saves a vehicle from preferential parking limitations within the defined region and in a two-block radius of the registered address only.
