Step 3: Group Activities
Group activities keep the children engaged and also eliminates their fear of being ignored. Children tend to feel separated when not engaged in group activities. The group activities can be something like solving problems together or an adult supervising their collaborative effort in creating something.
Step 4: Create a Table in Word
Once you have decided upon what values to teach and what resources and techniques to use it is time to create a table in MS Word and put the activities in the correct cell. Don’t forget to include activities that focus on developing their motor skills and logical reasoning skills as well. Several toys help in this. Once done save the Word document.
Step 5: Observe to Update the Timetable
You might not get the timetable right in your first attempt. The transition from one task to the next should be smooth and should not feel hurried. Try including audio-visual programs in your activities. They generally tend to attract the children’s attention faster but should not be over-used. See if you are getting the desired results. If not try changing a few things in the next week’s timetable and repeat the process.
