I am writing to request a leave of absence due to a recent death in my family. It is with deep sadness that I inform you about the passing of my beloved grandfather, who was an essential part of my life.
During this difficult time, I need to take some time off from work to properly grieve and attend to the necessary arrangements. I request a bereavement leave of 1 week starting from June 2, 2052, until June 8, 2052.
I have already made arrangements with Cindy Grahams to handle my responsibilities in my absence. We have discussed the pending projects and tasks, and I am confident that everything will be taken care of efficiently.
