Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to join our team. Responsibilities and Duties

• Provides daily care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and medication administration.

• Monitors and records the client's physical condition, behavioral changes, and medication use.

• Collaborates with the healthcare team to report on the client's condition.

• Performs light household chores to keep the client's environment safe and clean.

• Provides emotional support and companionship to the client.

• Respects the client's rights and maintains confidentiality.

Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies

• High school diploma or equivalent, but a Certification in Caregiving or a related field is preferred.

• Proven experience working as a caregiver or similar role in professional healthcare or in-home care settings.

• Knowledge of basic healthcare and hygiene standards.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to work with a diverse range of clients.

• Patient, empathetic, and able to handle stressful situations

• CPR/First Aid certificate is preferred.

Necessary Experience

At least one year of experience in a caregiver role is strongly desired. Applicants with more extensive experience, particularly in caring for individuals with special needs or chronic illnesses, will be given stronger consideration.
