Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced, professional Bookkeeper to join our growing organization. This professional will be responsible for maintaining our financial records, tracking payments, and updating our accounting records. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, outstanding problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of accounting and financial principles.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Maintaining records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensuring legal requirements compliance.

  • Developing systems to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.

  • Balancing general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.

  • Maintaining historical records by filing documents.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a high school diploma; an associate’s degree in accounting or related field is preferred.

  • Extensive experience in working with QuickBooks or a similar program.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

  • Strong data entry, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • A keen eye for detail and commitment to precision.
