Job Summary

As a Food Service Worker, you will be responsible for serving food to customers, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, and managing the cash drawer. You will also ensure compliance with safety guidelines and be responsible for monitoring food inventory.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Serve food and beverages to customers in a prompt and courteous manner

  • Maintain a safe and clean food preparation and dining area, including washing tables and chairs

  • Manage cash drawer and reconcile end-of-shift reports

  • Follow all safety guidelines concerning food handling and preparation

  • Assist in monitoring food inventory levels, ensuring adequate stocks for service

  • Perform waste disposal duties, adhering to proper sanitation procedures

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will have a High school diploma or equivalent with experience in the food service industry. The ability to multi-task, be oriented, and have strong communication skills is essential. The ability to stand for long periods and lift to 20 lbs is required.

Experience

Prior experience in a similar role or customer service-oriented industry will be an added advantage. Knowledge of cash handling procedures and a food handler's permit is necessary.

Additional Requirements

All candidates must have a valid Food Handler's Certificate.
