Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Daily Accounting Tasks: Perform daily accounting tasks including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations. Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.

  • Budget Preparation: Assist with the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts. Monitor budget performance and report on any discrepancies.

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls. Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and best practices.

  • Audits: Conduct internal audits and provide support during external audits. Ensure all financial records are accurate and readily available for review.

  • Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and organized financial records. Ensure all documentation is stored securely and can be easily retrieved when needed.

  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze financial data. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret and analyze complex financial data.
