Responsibilities and Duties:

The Branch Assistant will:

  • Provide superior customer service, assisting customers with inquiries, account transactions, and resolving problems in a courteous and professional manner.

  • Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and document preparation.

  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including accepting deposits, processing withdrawals, and counting cash.

  • Manage customer accounts effectively by opening and closing them, updating account information, and providing basic account information.

  • Support sales efforts by promoting and cross-selling financial products and services to customers, such as savings accounts, loans, and credit cards.

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in banking, finance, business administration, or a related field.

  • Provable experience in a similar role.

  • Strong customer service and administrative skills.

  • Excellent conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.

  • A high degree of accuracy in cash handling.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
