Responsibilities and Duties:

Assist with funeral services preparations, processing documents, maintaining case files and other pertinent information.

Work directly with grieving family members and act as a point of contact throughout the funeral service.

Preparation of the body for viewing and burial.

Assist in the logistics of moving the body from the mortuary to the funeral location.

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the funeral home.

Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to funeral service operations.
Qualifications and Skills:

High School diploma or GED equivalent. A degree in mortuary science is a plus.

Proven experience as a Funeral Assistant or a similar role in customer service.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to handle emotional and sensitive situations with professionalism and respect.
Additional Requirements:
