Job Title: Policy Analyst

We are looking for a skilled Policy Analyst to join our dedicated team at Solas Corporations. The successful candidate will take a key role in conducting in-depth research on relevant issues to inform the development and evaluation of policies. Through rich data analysis, they will assess the impact and effectiveness of existing policies, offering evidence-based recommendations to policymakers based on their findings and analysis.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Conduct in-depth research on relevant policy issues.
Analyze relevant data and information to assess the impact and effectiveness of policies in place.
Provide evidence-based recommendations for policy adjustments or new policy initiatives.
Present research findings and analysis to policymakers.
Contribute to the policy development process by infusing data-driven insights.

Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies:

As our Policy Analyst, your qualifications and competencies should include:

Advanced degree in Policy, Public Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Policy Analyst.
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to provide actionable recommendations based on research findings.

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role or an environment dealing with policy development and analysis.

Additional Requirements:

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel for data analysis.
Well-versed in current policy issues and trends.
