We are looking for a proactive, diligent Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team. Your role will revolve around establishing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety protocols within our organization to ensure the well-being of all staff.
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Health & Safety Management, or a related field.
Good knowledge of health and safety regulations and efficient ways of implementing them.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to analyze health and safety activities.
Excellent communication abilities, both oral and written.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Developing health and safety policies and procedures for the organization.
Implementing and monitoring safety measures that protect employees and visitors.
Conducting regular health and safety assessments and implementing necessary improvements.
Providing regular updates, and presenting health and safety guidelines to staff.
A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar health and safety role is required. The candidate must also be familiar with reporting and procedural documentation procedures.
Certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals is preferred but not required. The candidate must be able to handle emergency situations.
