Job Description:
EcoScape Landscaping Services is searching for a detailed and diligent Financial Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and maintaining accurate financial statements, managing the general ledger, carrying out month-end and year-end close activities, financial analysis, and aiding in the budgeting and forecasting process.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Prepare and maintain financial statements, including income, balance, cash flow statements.
Record, classify, and reconcile financial transactions, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the general ledger.
Conduct month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accrivals, and adjustments.
Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, liaising with department heads to develop and track financial plans.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
Strong knowledge of accounting theory and financial accounting processes.
Proficient in the use of finance software and MS Office applications.
Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.
Outstanding attention to detail.
