The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring cash flow to optimize payment schedules, secure early payment discounts, and work collaboratively with purchasing and other departments.

Responsibilities and Duties

Our Accounts Payable Officer will be tasked with streamlined processes in the accounts payable function. The duties include: - Maintaining accurate payment reports and tracking expenses - Reconciling accounts regularly - Monitoring cash flow to optimize payment schedules and secure early payment discounts - Collaborating with purchasing and other departments to enhance efficiency

Qualifications and Skills

- Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or related field - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles - High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Experience

- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable
