Health Link Medical is on the lookout for a highly analytical Finance Administrator to oversee our Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger operations. The ideal candidate is a financial whiz who can keep cool under pressure, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and, above all, ensure accuracy and adherence to company policies in all financial transactions.

Responsibilities and Duties:

In your capacity as Finance Administrator, you'll be responsible for a range of crucial tasks. These include:

  • Processing and recording incoming invoices and reconciling supplier statements. Any discrepancies must be resolved speedily.

  • Preparing and processing payments to suppliers through checks and electronic transfers.

  • Generating and distributing customer invoices in a timely manner, and monitoring and resolving outstanding customer balances.

  • Recording customer payments and reconciling accounts receivable.

  • Maintaining the general ledger by recording financial transactions.

  • Assisting in month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and reconciliations.

Qualifications and Skills:

We're seeking candidates who are quick learners and problem solvers with a carry-the-day kind of attitude. In more specific terms, you'll need:

  • A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.

  • Excellent knowledge of financial processes and procedures.

  • Detail-oriented and the ability to stick to deadlines.

  • Strong numerical skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Experience:

At least two years' experience in a similar finance role is highly desirable. However, don't let this deter you if you are confident in your ability to get the job done right.
