Job Title: Border Force Officer

Responsibilities and Duties

The Border Force Officer will:

• Manage and enforce immigration and customs laws within our international borders

• Prevent and detect illegal entry of persons and goods

• Carry out searches on cargo, vehicles, and passengers

• Prepare accurate reports and records

• Maintain a high standard of professionalism while dealing with the public

Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:

• A degree in Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice, or a related field

• Previous experience in law enforcement, preferred

• Working knowledge of immigration and customs laws and regulations

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team

• Physical capability to perform job-related duties

Additional Requirements

• Be able to pass extensive background checks

• Hold a clean driver’s licence

• Be prepared to work shifts, weekends, and holidays

• Be proficient in more than one language – advantageous
