A. Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies

  • The ability to multitask effectively is paramount

B. Responsibilities and Duties

Your duties will be diverse and multi-faceted, which include but are not limited to:

  • Greeting patients as they arrive and being the central figure of the front desk

  • Managing patient appointments and rescheduling when necessary

  • Updating and maintaining patient records through our electronic system

  • Ensuring patient comfort and guiding them through procedures

  • Working within a team to streamline the patient experience

C. Necessary Experience

Previous experience in a healthcare setting would be highly beneficial, especially in a receptionist or customer service role. A knowledgeable medical receptionist can make our healthcare service more profitable and efficient.

D. Additional Requirements

Given the occasionally high pressure of this role, the ideal candidate should be resilient, detail-oriented, and possess a friendly and empathetic demeanor. The ability to handle stressful situations with calmness is essential. A basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures is expected.
