Aimed at both industrious and meticulous individuals, this role requires joining the operations team of Urban Logistics Inc. As an Operation Specialist, your role will be to craft, manage, and improve standard operating procedures while ensuring optimization of various operational tasks. Your data analysis skills will come into play by reporting and identifying areas for improvements and trends. Overseeing inventory and coordinating supply chain management to escalate business efficiency will be a key element to your role.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Design and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for various operational tasks, streamlining and optimizing for efficiency.

  • Monitor and evaluate process performance, recommending improvements when necessary.

  • Collect and analyze operational data, generating reports and providing insights to aid in decision-making.

  • Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.

  • Oversee inventory levels, coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, while implementing measures to minimize waste and cut costs.

  • Collaborate with procurement team to negotiate contracts with vendors.

Skills and Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or any related field is required for this position. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to detail and the ability to multitask. Advanced experience in data analysis, reporting, supply chain management, and project management are key qualifications for successful performance in this role. Being tech-savvy with a good grasp in using Microsoft Office tools and ERP systems will also be crucial.
