Job Title: Day Surgery Nurse
Our healthcare facility is seeking a dedicated and patient-oriented Day Surgery Nurse for immediate employment. The Day Surgery Nurse will play a crucial role in providing compassionate and comprehensive care to patients undergoing outpatient surgery. This position necessitates not only exceptional nursing abilities but also superior interpersonal skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Responsibilities and Duties
Perform comprehensive assessments on patients prior to surgical procedure, including review of medical history and medication.
Ensure all preoperative needs and standards are met.
Contribute to the administration of anesthesia under the supervision of Anesthesiologists.
Ensure a sterile and safe surgical environment.
Provide necessary support and assistance to the surgical team.
Participate in post-surgery evaluation and provide required post-op care.
Qualifications and Skills
Active RN license in this state.
Minimum of two years experience in a clinical or surgical setting.
Proficiency in electronic medical records systems.
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
