Job Title: IT Technician, User Support

CloudCom Innovations is seeking a skilled IT Technician specialized in User Support to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance to end-users, maintenance of hardware and software, and network support.

Responsibilities and Duties:

The IT Technician, User Support will perform but not limited to the following roles:

  • Provide technical assistance and support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems involving desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.

  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding employees, including setting up and configuring equipment.

  • Perform hardware installations, upgrades, and repairs.

  • Install and configure software applications, updates, and patches.

  • Maintain an inventory of IT assets and equipment.

  • Assist in the setup and maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.

  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues.

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an IT Technician or relevant position.

  • In-depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair issues.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.

Additional Requirements:

Candidates should have a degree in Computer Science, engineering, or relevant field. Certifications as IT Technician will be an advantage along with experience in network management and help desk support.
