PROMISSORY NOTE FOR BANK LOAN

THIS PROMISSORY NOTE (the "Note") is made this first day of January, 2050, by and between the undersigned, Ethan Harris, of Los Angeles, California, herein referred as the "Maker," and the Lender, herein referred as the "Payee."

The Maker promises to pay to the order of Payee the principal amount of Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000) on or before July 27, 1998 for his car loan balance.

THIS NOTE shall be payable in consecutive monthly installments each in the amount of payable commencing on the first day of the month following the date hereof and continuing on the same day of each month thereafter until the Principal Sum, and all accrued interest thereon shall have been fully paid.

The obligations of the Maker under this Note are unsecured.

The occurrence of any of the following shall constitute an "Event of Default" under this Note:

  1. Failure by the Maker to pay any part of the Principal Sum or accrued interest when due.

  2. The bankruptcy or insolvency of the Maker.

Interest shall accrue on the unpaid principal balance of this Note at a rate of 5% per annum.

If any installment payment owed under this Note is not received by the Payee within fifteen days of its due date, the Maker agrees to pay a late fee of 5% of the overdue amount.

The Maker and any endorsers of this Note waive presentment, notice of dishonor, protest, and notice of protest with regard to the Note, all errors, defects and imperfections in any proceedings instituted by the Payee under the terms of this Note, and all benefits that might accrue to the Maker by virtue of any present or future laws exempting any property, real or personal, or any part of the proceeds arising from any sale of any such property, from attachment, levy or sale under execution, or providing for any stay of execution, exemption from civil process, or extension of time for payment; and the Maker agrees that any real estate that may be levied upon under a judgment obtained by virtue hereof, on any writ of execution issued thereon, may be sold upon any such writ in whole or in part in any order desired by the holder of such judgment.
