/Halston Insurance is seeking a dedicated and experienced Training and Development Officer. This essential role involves collaborating with department heads to understand business objectives, aligning training initiatives accordingly, and systematically evaluating the effectiveness of these programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
As a Training and Development Officer, your tasks will include but not be limited to:
Collaborate with department heads to identify and understand enterprise-wide business objectives
Develop and implement training initiatives that align with these objectives
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through continuous collection and analysis of feedback, assessments, and performance metrics
Introduce adjustments to improve training strategies based on analyzed data
Ensure the company compliance with industry regulations and standards through adequate training of all staff members.
Applicants should possess:
A Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Education, or a related field
Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in an insurance setting
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
Excellent analytical abilities
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Highly organized with a keen eye for detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
All applicants must be eligible to work in the US. Prior insurance industry experience is highly preferred.
