An opportunity has opened up for an Audit Clerk within our team. The successful candidate will be able to provide support to our financial department by managing daily accounting tasks. This role requires a hands-on individual with a keen eye for detail, and the ability to perform under strict deadlines.
Qualifications and Skills
Applicants should be equipped with the following qualifications and skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Proven experience as an Audit Clerk or in a similar role

Understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices

Excellent math ability and strong organizational skills

Proficiency in MS Office, particularly in using MS Excel.
Responsibilities and Duties
The Audit Clerk will be required to undertake the following responsibilities and duties:

Checking for inaccuracies in invoices, and in statements and records

Assisting in the preparation of reports and summaries on financial stability, liquidity, and solvency

Performing a variety of general accounting support tasks in the accounting department

Verifying the accuracy of our financial statements and ensuring they comply with laws and regulations

Keeping up with industry and company trends and developments
