Session Details
Session Date: May 15, 2050
Client ID: MB550050
Mental Health Focus: Anxiety
Mood Observations and Discussed Topics
The session began on time with Mr. Michael Brown. Observations of Mr. Brown's demeanour revealed a somewhat anxious presence. Initially, he was reluctant to share his feelings and thoughts. However, after some reassurance and a discussion about confidentiality, he began to open up.
We discussed recent triggers of his anxiety, including changes in his routine and a recent fall at home. Despite his initial reluctance, Mr. Brown was later able to articulate his feelings and concerns, providing valuable insight into his emotional state.
Mr. Brown mentioned that he had recently taken up physiotherapy to help with his recovery after the fall. It was noted that the integration of physiotherapy into his routine seems to reduce his anxiety levels significantly. We also discussed some relaxation techniques that complement his physiotherapy sessions, such as deep breathing exercises and visual imagery practices.
Evaluation of Progress
Mr. Brown has demonstrated significant progress in managing his anxiety since the beginning of therapy. The integration of physiotherapy into his routine seems to positively influence his mental state, providing him with a sense of control and autonomy over his physical health. His ability to open up to discuss his feelings represents important progress in his therapy journey.
Follow Up Plans
A follow-up session is scheduled for June 1, 2050. In the time frame between our sessions, Mr. Brown will aim to continue his regimen of physiotherapy and incorporate the relaxation techniques discussed in therapy. We also agreed on a plan to gradually increase the social interaction component in his routine, as his reports suggest that isolation may be escalating his anxiety levels. Frequent check-ins regarding his progress and mental health status are suggested during this period.
