Job Title: Office Facility Manager

VertexTech Solutions is hunting for an Office Facility Manager to join our team. The person will be responsible for overseeing regular maintenance, repairs, and inspections of office facilities. Included in your remit is space allocation and office layout planning along with other aspects of office logistics. We desire a team-oriented professional with the experience to handle the responsibilities efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Schedule, supervise, and manage maintenance, repairs, and inspections of all office systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.

  • Coordinate with external contractors and vendors. Tackle facility repairs and improvements head-on.

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of maintenance activities and expenses.

  • Plan and dole out office space efficiently. Work hand-in-glove with department heads and management.

  • Contribute to planning and executing office layout changes.

  • Ensure strict compliance with fire safety codes, accessibility regulations, and zoning requirements.

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management or related field.

  • Proven track record as an Office Facility Manager or similar role.

  • Knowledge of office management processes and procedures.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.

  • Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles, preferably within a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.

Additional Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Good understanding of technical aspects of property (HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems).
