Dear Mrs. Hunter,
I hope this letter finds you well. My name is Rickey Johnson, and I am the new elementary art teacher for your child at Dreamland Elementary School. I am writing to offer a warm welcome to the new school year and to fill you in on what we will be working on in our art class this year. In our art class, the students will be introduced to various art forms, from painting to pottery, from sketching to sculpture, and from printmaking to photography.
These activities are aimed at enhancing their creativity as well as developing their fine motor skills. As their teacher, I'm fully committed to creating an environment where your child can feel safe expressing themselves and their creativity. During the course of this year, you will receive updates about your child's progress as well as any special art projects or events.
I believe that parent-teacher communication is crucial in helping a child succeed academically and personally. I request your support and cooperation throughout the year. If you have any concerns or questions, feel free to contact me via email or phone call. I am looking forward to a colorful and creative year with your child.
Best Regards,
Rickey Johnson
