Session Overview
The Therapy session was primarily focused on discussing the progress Carlos has achieved until this point in his clinical therapy. I also discussed some strategies that Carlos could employ to foster further progress. As usual, Carlos demonstrated a great willingness to participate and showed an admirable level of commitment to the therapeutic process.
Progress
Carlos expressed satisfaction with his occupational performance and progress within the therapeutic context. His active participation in engaging with therapeutic activities presented has assisted him significantly in the development of necessary skills for managing his work-related tasks smoothly.
Strategies
We explored a couple of strategies throughout the session. The primary focus was on enabling him to effectively manage his workload and stress associated with school-based occupational therapy activities. A few relaxation techniques were recommended and practiced to help alleviate stress. Carlos showed a positive response towards these strategies.
Next Steps
The therapy will continue to focus on stress management and coping mechanisms, and we will build upon the strategies introduced in this session. Carlos agreed to practice the relaxation techniques at home and provide feedback on their effectiveness in the next session.
