Dental Office Excuse Note
Excuse Note
Dear Michael Smith,
I hope this note finds you in good health and spirit. This is Robert Johnson writing to bring to your attention an unforeseen circumstance that has resulted in an unplanned absence from work/school.
Last week, unexpectedly, I had to undergo urgent dental treatment. The situation was dire and avoiding immediate medical attention would have resulted in further complicated health risks. I understand my absence may have caused some inconvenience, and for that, I sincerely apologize.
Moreover, my dentist has strongly advised follow-up care to ensure my oral health amplifies. Therefore, I will be requiring some additional time off. I understand the timing might not be ideal, but I assure you I will make up for the lost time while ensuring minimum disruption to my duties or assignments.
I appreciate your understanding considering the urgency of the issue. I do not take this lightly and I am grateful for your support as I navigate through this situation. I will stay in touch and keep you updated on my recovery and return to work/school.
Thank you, once again, for your consideration and understanding. If there are any steps I need to take in terms of documentation or formalities, please let me know, I am more than willing to comply.
Best Regards,
Robert Johnson
