Excuse Note

Dear Emily Davis,

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Michael Smith, and I write to you with regard to an unfortunate circumstance that has given rise to the absence of my child from their school obligations.

We have recently found ourselves in the grip of a health concern that has required immediate medical attention. Due to this, my child is unable to fulfill their regular commitments at school.
