  • Collecting, cleaning, and pre-processing data for analysis.

  • Performing data exploration and visualization.

  • Identifying trends, anomalies and patterns in data.

  • Designing, implementing, and testing machine learning models.

  • Evaluating model performance, fine-tuning parameters, and ensuring scalability.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Advanced knowledge in Python, SQL, and R.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Thorough understanding of machine learning models.

  • Proficiency in data visualization tools.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, exploration, and modeling in a retail-focused environment.

  • Effective communication skills - both verbal and written.
