Dear Ms. Manning,

Firstly, I’d like to take this moment to express my sincere gratitude for your support and faith in my services over the past year. Your projects have not only been challenging but also carved the path for my creative growth, for which I am truly grateful.

I am writing to inform you about an essential change to my freelance rate structure. Over the course of time, inflation has indeed exerted pressure on costs associated with the services, which have necessitated this contingently unavoidable circumstance.

Effective April 1, 2050, my new hourly freelance rate will be increased by 20%. This is a decision I have reached after careful analysis of the inflation rate, cost of living, and market rates for similar services.

I understand that this may also require an adjustment on your end, and I’m more than willing to discuss any concerns that you may have regarding this change. Your satisfaction as a long-standing client is of utmost importance to me.
