Job Title: Police Major
This position manages and leads a team of law officers in their mission to maintain safety, uphold law and order, and protect our community. A strong candidate for this position will provide leadership and direction to law enforcement divisions, contributing to overall departmental strategy and objectives.
Responsibilities and Duties

Provide strategic leadership to the department, ensuring efficient and effective law enforcement services.

Develop, implement, and enforce law enforcement policies in line with regional laws and ordinances, ensuring adherence to regulations and best practices.

Prepare and manage the department's budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.

Coordinate activities between divisions and interact with the public and media as the departmental spokesperson.
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar role, showcasing their ability to lead and manage a large team of law enforcement officials. You must hold a bachelor’s degree in law enforcement or a related field. An understanding of laws, regulations, and guidelines about law enforcement is paramount.
