Job Summary: The Employee Relations Specialist will manage and resolve employee issues, enhance workplace culture, and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies. This role is crucial for maintaining a positive work environment, resolving conflicts, and promoting employee engagement and retention.
Key Responsibilities/Duties:
Conflict Resolution: Act as a mediator between employees and management to resolve workplace conflicts, ensuring fair and unbiased outcomes.
Grievance Management: Address employee grievances, conduct investigations into complaints, and provide recommendations for resolution.
Policy Enforcement: Ensure adherence to company policies and labor laws, guiding the interpretation and application of workplace rules and regulations.
Employee Engagement: Promote a positive organizational culture by supporting programs that foster employee engagement, satisfaction, and morale.
Compliance Management: Ensure the company’s practices are compliant with local, state, and federal employment laws, and update policies as needed.
Performance Management Support: Provide support to managers and employees in the development and implementation of performance improvement plans, ensuring fair and consistent processes.
Training and Development: Design and deliver training sessions for employees and management on topics related to employee relations, conflict resolution, and legal compliance.
