Job Title: Accountant Job Duties

Financial Data Management:

• Analyze financial data and create financial reports for decision-making.

• Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.

• Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.

• Prepare and review budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents.

Auditing and Compliance:

• Perform the computation of taxes owed, prepare tax returns, and ensure compliance with payment, reporting, and other tax requirements.

• Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.

• Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses.

Financial Management:

• Advise management on short-term and long-term financial objectives, policies, and actions.

• Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets; prepare periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.

• Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

• Proven experience as an accountant.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

• Excellent analytical skills and experience developing financial reports and projections.

• Good understanding of data analysis and forecasting methodologies.

• Knowledge of industry standards and corporate tax laws.

• Professional certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is highly preferred.
