Job Summary/Objective
The Entertainment Lawyer’s primary responsibility is to serve as the legal advocate for our valued clients within the entertainment industry. This includes actors, musicians, filmmakers, and production companies. The successful candidate will provide expert advice, representation, and legal services. You will help the client protect their creative works, ensure compliance with industry regulations, navigate complex contracts and licensing agreements, and manage legal disputes.
Responsibility and Duties

Provide legal advice and representation for clients in the entertainment industry.

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, licensing agreements, and other related legal documents.

Stay abreast of changes in intellectual property laws, contracts, and industry regulations that affect clients.

Handle legal disputes, copyright infringement cases, and conduct negotiations for favorable resolutions.

Proactively advise clients on legal issues that might impact their creative works and intellectual property rights.
Qualifications
A successful candidate must hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and be licensed to practice law. At least 5 years of experience as an entertainment lawyer or a similar position is required. In addition, a deep understanding of entertainment and intellectual property law, contract law, and licensing agreements is necessary.
