APARTMENT RENTAL CONTRACT
This Apartment Rental Contract is made and entered into on May 1, 2050, by and between [YOUR NAME] "Landlord" of [YOUR COMPANY ADDRESS], and [Tenant's Full Name] "Tenant" of [Tenant's Current Address].
1. Premises
The Landlord hereby agrees to rent to the Tenant a room identified as Room 2B in the property located at [Insert Full Address of Apartment]. Along with the Rented Room, the Tenant shall have the right to use the following shared spaces: bathroom, kitchen, and living room Shared Spaces, all of which are deemed part of the Premises.
2. Term
The rental term shall commence on May 1, 2050, and shall terminate on April 30, 2051, Rental Period, unless otherwise renewed or terminated by the terms of this Contract.
3. Rent
The Tenant agrees to pay the Landlord a monthly rent of $750, due on the first day of each month. The first month's rent is payable upon the signing of this Contract. If the Rental Period does not start on the first day of the month or end on the last day of a month, the Rent for the fractional month shall be prorated accordingly.
4. Security Deposit
Before occupancy, the Tenant shall pay a security deposit of $1,500 Security Deposit, to cover damages or unpaid rent. The Security Deposit will be returned to the Tenant within 30 days after the termination of this Contract, minus any deductions for damages or unpaid rent.
5. Use of Premises
The Tenant agrees to use the Rented Room and Shared Spaces in a manner that is respectful to the Landlord and any other tenants in the Apartment. The Tenant shall not engage in any illegal activities within the Premises and shall adhere to all rules regarding noise, guests, and use of common areas.
6. Maintenance and Repairs
The Tenant is responsible for keeping the Rented Room clean and in good condition. The Landlord is responsible for maintaining the Shared Spaces and ensuring that all appliances, plumbing, heating, and electrical systems are in good working order.
7. Alterations
The Tenant shall not make any alterations, additions, or improvements to the Premises without the prior written consent of the Landlord.
8. Utilities
Utilities such as electricity, water, and internet shall be included in the Rent. Any utility not explicitly included in the Rent shall be the responsibility of the Tenant.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate this Contract by providing 60 days written notice to the other party. Upon termination, the Tenant agrees to vacate the Premises and return all keys to the Landlord.
10. Governing Law
