Job Summary/Objective
The Restaurant Accountant will manage all the financial transactions from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. The ideal candidate would have a knack for spotting numerical mistakes with deftness and precision and an understanding of contemporary financial laws and protocols. We expect our Restaurant Accountant to be well-versed in preparing accurate quarterly and annual financial reports.
Responsibilities and Duties

Handling day-to-day accounting duties including executing financial transactions, billing, and collection processes.

Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports.

Ensure compliance with state revenue service, and federal, and state requirements.

Advising on the improvement of financial management systems, internal control, and utilization of financial software and applications.

Qualifications

Proven work experience as a Certified Public Accountant or Senior Accountant.

Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and legislation.
