JOB TITLE: ADULT EDUCATOR

JOB SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

The Adult Educator is responsible for developing and delivering educational content that is tailored to meet the specific needs and interests of adult learners. Your role involves helping learners acquire further knowledge, skills, and personal development beyond their formal education. This role spans across various contexts, such as vocational training programs or adult education centers.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS

  • Design curricula and educational material that is tailored to adult education demographics.

  • Deliver instructional strategies that support the learning requirements of adult learners.

  • Evaluate learners' knowledge and skill acquisition through administering assessments.

  • Provide constructive feedback to learners to facilitate learning and development

  • Work collaboratively with the team to continuously improve teaching methodologies and curriculum design.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education, or relevant field. Master’s Degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in adult education or related area required.

  • Highly knowledgeable in adult learning theory and curriculum development.

  • Advanced certification in Adult Education is a plus.
