2. Rental Terms

  • Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit of [$5,000] shall be paid by the Client, to be returned within 15 business days following the event if no damage or additional charges are incurred.

  • Cancellation: In case of cancellation by the Client, the following cancellation fees will apply: Cancellation 60 days or more before the event: [25%] of the rental fee

  • Additional Services: The Client may request additional services such as catering, audio-visual equipment, or decoration, which will incur additional charges as per the Venue's standard rates.

  • Security: The Client shall be responsible for providing security personnel for the event, ensuring the safety of attendees and venue property.

3. Venue Responsibilities

The Venue's responsibilities encompass providing the rented space, which includes granting access to the event area, restrooms, and parking, ensuring the venue is clean and in good repair before the event, offering essential utilities such as electricity, water, and climate control, as well as assisting with setup and teardown, as per the Client's requests.

4. Insurance

It is the Client who holds the responsibility to secure event liability insurance. This insurance policy is tasked with providing coverage that should be worth nothing less than one million dollars. Inclusive in this coverage plan, the Venue should be incorporated, characterized as an additional party that benefits from this insurance.

5. Force Majeure

Should there arise an instance where the fulfillment of the obligations set out in this Contract is obstructed or significantly postponed by any circumstances that neither party has control over, such instances may encompass but are not limited to natural disasters, acts of war, directives from the government that impose constraints, or other situations that can be categorized as emergencies, there exists a provision within this Contract that allows for its termination. In such circumstances, neither party will incur any form of penalty or liability resulting from this termination.

6. Governing Law

The stipulations and implications of this Contract will be subjected to, and elucidated with the alignment of, the prevailing laws within the sovereignty of the United Nations Space Colonies. The said laws enforce their jurisdiction and applicability to all contract-related processes, from the commencement marked by the signing of the agreement to the implementation and actualization of its enrolled responsibilities, that functionally transpire within the territorial confines or boundaries of the colonies.

7. Entire Agreement

This Contract constitutes the comprehensive agreement established between the parties involved. It overrides all previous and simultaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties that might have occurred prior to or concurrent with this contract. The contents of this contract can thus be taken as the holistic and final representation of mutual terms, conditions, and understandings agreed upon by the parties involved.
