Dog Breeder Contract

This contract, which will henceforth be referred to as "the Agreement", has been formed and is set to come into effect beginning on the specified date. The involved parties consist of an individual by the name of [Buyer's Name], who is residing at an address specified as [Buyer's Address]. This individual will be known as "the Buyer" in the context of the agreement. Also partaking in this Agreement is another individual who goes by the name of [Your Name]. The residential address of this individual is [Breeder's Address], and they will be referred to as "the Breeder" going forward in terms of this Agreement.

I. PURPOSE

This Agreement seeks to specify the terms and conditions of the breeding, sale, and care of a dog, ensuring ethical breeding practices, welfare standards, and welfare of the dog. This Agreement ultimately ensures a mutual understanding between the Buyer and the Breeder.

II. DESCRIPTION OF DOG

The Breeder agrees to sell, and the Buyer agrees to purchase, the following dog:

III. OWNERSHIP

If the dog is found to have a hereditary or congenital disorder within 6 months of purchase, the Breeder agrees to provide a replacement dog of equal value, subject to availability. The Buyer must provide documentation from a licensed veterinarian confirming the diagnosis.

VII. CARE AND MAINTENANCE

VII.1 Responsibilities of the Buyer

The Buyer agrees to provide proper care, nutrition, and shelter for the dog, including:

Providing adequate food, water, and exercise.
Ensuring regular veterinary check-ups, vaccinations, and preventive treatments.
Providing a safe and suitable environment for the dog to live in.
Providing appropriate training and socialization.

VIII. RETURN POLICY

VIII.1 Procedure for Returning the Dog

If, for any reason, the Buyer is unable to keep the dog, the Buyer must contact the Breeder immediately.

VIII.2 Agreement on Returning the Dog

The Breeder agrees to take back the dog at any time, without question and will endeavor to find a suitable home for the dog.

IX. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior discussions, negotiations, and agreements, whether oral or written.

By signing below, both the Buyer and the Breeder acknowledge that they have read, understand, and agree to the terms of this Agreement.
