Volunteer Contract
This Volunteer Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into on this [DATE] by and between [Volunteer's Name], hereinafter referred to as "Volunteer", and "The [Organization Name]", hereinafter referred to as "Organization", collectively referred to as "the Parties".
1. Description of Volunteer Services
As per the organization's guidance and supervision, the Volunteer is expected to promptly deliver the following services as described [DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES].
2. Duration of Services
The Volunteer agrees to provide services commencing from [START DATE] and terminating on [END DATE] unless otherwise terminated as provided herein.
3. Code of Conduct
The individual who is volunteering agrees that they will adhere to the Organization's Code of Conduct. This Code of Conduct is attached to this agreement, forming an integral part of it.
4. Confidentiality
The individual offering their services as a Volunteer pledges to uphold and maintain the confidentiality of any information that is considered proprietary or confidential to which they may be exposed during their service in the role as a Volunteer.
5. Liability & Indemnification
The individual who has accepted the role of a volunteer has entered into an agreement whereby they restrict the liability of the organization to the maximum degree allowed by legal statute. Additionally, it is understood that if any liability emerges as a consequence of the actions of this volunteer, they will compensate or protect the organization for any losses, damages, or judgments that might result from such actions.
6. Termination
This Agreement can be terminated by either of the parties involved, provided they supply a written notice stating their intent to terminate. There are various reasons why one might wish to terminate this Agreement, these could range from a breach in the confidentiality clause(s), violation of the established code of conduct, or failure to fulfill the obligations or responsibilities as they have been outlined and stipulated in the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
7. Conflict Resolution
All disputes arising out of this Agreement shall be dealt with according to the Organization's established conflict resolution policy, and the decision shall be binding to both Parties.
8. Acknowledgment of Volunteer Status
The volunteer acknowledges that they are offering their services willingly and without anticipation of monetary compensation. Their volunteer status is not akin to employment, and they are not entitled to any benefits, protections, or entitlements of employment.
