This Storage Unit Rental Contract ("Contract") is entered into on [Effective Date], by and between [Your Name], hereinafter referred to as the "Owner," and [Renter's Name], hereinafter referred to as the "Renter," collectively referred to as the "Parties."

II. Effective Date

III. Storage Unit
The Owner agrees to rent to the Renter, and the Renter agrees to rent from the Owner, the storage unit located at [Storage Unit Address], hereinafter referred to as the "Unit." The Unit is described as [Size and Type of Unit] and is designated for the exclusive use of the Renter.
IV. Rent and Terms
a. The monthly rent for the Unit shall be [Amount in Currency], payable in advance on the [Day of the Month] of each month.

c. The Renter shall not store hazardous, flammable, illegal, or perishable items in the Unit.
VII. Security Deposit

b. The security deposit shall be held by the Owner as security for the faithful performance of the Renter's obligations under this Contract.
c. The security deposit shall be refundable, less any deductions for damages or unpaid rent, upon termination of this Contract.

IX. Termination

b. Upon termination, the Renter shall vacate the Unit and return all keys to the Owner.
c. The Owner reserves the right to terminate this Contract immediately for non-payment of rent or breach of any terms herein.
X. Limitation of Liability
The Owner shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or theft of the Renter's property stored in the Unit. The Renter agrees to maintain insurance coverage for their stored property.
XI. Indemnity
The Renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Owner from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising out of the Renter's use of the Unit.
XII. Governing Law
This Contract shall be governed by and construed by the laws of [Jurisdiction]. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this Contract shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [Jurisdiction].
XIII. Entire Agreement
This Contract may be executed in counterparts, each of which shall be deemed an original, but all of which together shall constitute the same instrument.
