Bookkeeper Contract

This Bookkeeper Agreement ('Agreement') is entered into as of this [Date], by and between [Client's Name] (hereinafter referred to as the 'Client') having its principal place of business at [Client's Address] and the Bookkeeper [Bookkeeper's Name], having its principal place of business at [Bookkeeper's Address] (hereinafter referred to as the 'Bookkeeper').

1. SERVICES

The Bookkeeper hereby agrees to provide bookkeeping services to the Client which shall principally include but not be limited to preparing financial statements, recording financial transactions, updating financial records, and performing other related tasks as specified by the Client.

2. COMPENSATION

For the services rendered by the Bookkeeper under this Agreement, the Client shall pay the Bookkeeper a fee of [Amount in USD] on a [Payment Schedule]. Payments are to be made via [Mode of Payment].

3. CONFIDENTIALITY

The Bookkeeper shall keep confidential and shall not disclose to any third party any information or material relating to the Client or its business unless the Client’s prior written consent has been obtained.

4. TERMINATION

This Agreement may be terminated by either Party by providing [Number of Days’ Notice] days' written notice to the other Party. Upon termination, the Client shall pay the Bookkeeper for all services performed up to the effective date of termination.

5. INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR

The relationship between the Bookkeeper and the Client will be established in a way that the Bookkeeper will act as an independent contractor. It is to clarify that the Bookkeeper is not, and will not be regarded, as an employee of the Client.

6. GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed by the laws of [Jurisdiction].

7. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This Agreement contains the entire understanding between the Parties and supersedes and replaces all such prior agreements concerning matters expressly set forth herein.
