House Rental Contract
This House Rental Contract (“Contract”) is entered into this [DATE] (the “Effective Date”) by and between [YOUR NAME] (the “Landlord”) and [TENANT'S NAME] (the “Tenant”).
1. Property Identification
The property to be rented under this Agreement is located at [PROPERTY ADDRESS], including any personal property located thereon (the “Property”).
2. Term
The initial term of this Agreement begins on [START DATE] and ends on [END DATE]. After the initial term, this Agreement will automatically renew on a month-to-month basis until terminated by either Party upon [NUMBER OF DAYS] days' written notice.
3. Rent

The Tenant will keep the Property in a clean, sanitary, and good condition throughout the tenancy. Routine maintenance and minor repairs shall be the responsibility of the Tenant. The Landlord will be responsible for major repairs resulting from normal wear and tear.
7. Insurance
Tenant will maintain adequate liability insurance covering personal injury and property damage, and will provide Landlord with evidence of this insurance upon Landlord’s request.
8. Default
If Tenant fails to comply with any of the material provisions of this Agreement, or of any present rules and regulations governing the Property, Landlord may terminate this Agreement upon providing proper notice to Tenant.
9. Termination
Upon termination of this Agreement, Tenant will return the Property and all property of Landlord in a clean and good condition, subject to normal wear and tear.
10. Government Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed by the laws of [STATE/COUNTRY], without regard to conflicts of law principles.
