2. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ORGANIZER

  1. Promote the event through various channels.

  2. Organize participant registration and manage entries.

  3. Provide necessary equipment, if applicable, such as scoring materials or promotional signage.

  4. Ensure compliance with all applicable rules and regulations governing the tournament.

3. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE VENUE

  1. Provide access to the golf course and associated facilities during the agreed-upon times.

  2. Maintain the golf course and facilities in suitable condition for the tournament.

  3. Provide staff as necessary, including but not limited to course marshals, starters, and support personnel.

  4. Ensure the safety of all participants and attendees during the event.

4. FINANCIAL ARRANGEMENTS

  • Fee Amount

    The Organizer agrees to pay the Venue a fee of $5,000 (Five thousand dollars) for hosting the tournament.

  • Deposit Amount

    A deposit of $1,000 (One thousand dollars) is due upon signing this Contract.

  • Payment Schedule

    The remaining balance of $4,000 (Four thousand dollars) is payable in two installments. $2,000 is due by May 1, 2024, and the final payment of $2,000 is due by June 1, 2024.

  • Refund Policy

    Refunds will be provided according to the following policy: A full refund is available for cancellations made more than 30 days before the tournament start date. A 50% refund is available for cancellations made between 15 and 30 days before the tournament start date. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 15 days before the tournament start date.

5. INSURANCE AND LIABILITY

  • The Organizer will secure liability insurance, protecting both parties from potential liabilities such as injuries or property damage.

  • This mitigates financial risks for both the Organizer and the Venue.

  • The Venue won't be liable for any incidents during the tournament if the Organizer maintains sufficient insurance coverage, ensuring a clear understanding and protection for both parties.

6. CANCELLATION AND TERMINATION

Either party has the right to terminate this Contract with written notice. If the Organizer cancels, any deposit paid will be forfeited to the Venue. Conversely, if the Venue cancels, the Organizer will receive a full refund of any fees paid.

7. MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS

  1. Governing Law: This Contract shall be governed by and construed by the laws of [Insert Jurisdiction].

  2. Entire Contract: This Contract constitutes the entire agreement between the Parties concerning the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.

  3. Amendments: Any amendments to this Contract must be made in writing and signed by both Parties.
