Mobile DJ Contract

This Mobile DJ Contract ("Contract") is entered into as of [DATE] (the "Effective Date"), between [YOUR NAME], with its principal place of business at [YOUR ADDRESS] ("DJ"), and [CLIENT'S NAME], with its principal place of business at [CLIENT'S ADDRESS] ("Client").

2. Services Provided

The DJ agrees to provide DJ services for the event described above. Services include but are not limited to:

• Providing musical entertainment during the event.

• Bringing necessary sound equipment and lighting (if applicable).

• Setup and teardown of equipment.

• Coordination with the client or event coordinator regarding music preferences, playlists, and any special requests.

• Additional services as agreed upon between the Parties.

3. Payment Terms:

The total fee for DJ services is $800, payable as follows:

• A non-refundable deposit of $200 is due upon signing this Contract to secure the DJ's services for the event.

• The remaining balance of $600 is due no later than one week before the start of the event.

• Payments can be made via cash, check, or bank transfer.

• In the event of cancellation by the Client, the deposit will not be refunded.

4. Client Responsibilities:

• The Client agrees to provide the DJ with access to the event venue at least 2 hours before the start time for setup.

• The Client shall provide adequate space, preferably a minimum of 10 feet by 10 feet, and power outlets (minimum of 2) within proximity for the DJ's equipment setup.

• The Client shall communicate any special requests, playlists, or specific music preferences to the DJ promptly at least 1 week before the event date.

5. Cancellation Policy:

• In the event of cancellation by the DJ due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, equipment failure), all payments made by the Client will be refunded in full.

• In the event of cancellation by the Client, the deposit will not be refunded, and the Client may be liable for any additional costs incurred by the DJ.

6. Miscellaneous:

• This Contract constitutes the entire agreement between the Parties and supersedes any prior agreements or understandings, written or oral.

• Any modifications to this Contract must be made in writing and signed by both Parties.

• This Contract shall be governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction].

• The Parties agree to resolve any disputes arising from this Contract through mediation or arbitration before pursuing legal action.
