Car Rental Contract

This Auto Vehicle Rental Contract ("Contract") is entered into as of [DATE] (the "Effective Date"), by and between [Car Rental Company Name], a company organized and existing under the laws of [COUNTRY], with a principal office at [Company Address] (the "Company") and [Your Name], an individual with his/her main place of residence located at [Your Address] (the "Renter"), together referred to as the ("Parties.")

1. Rental Vehicle

The company, as stated herein, agrees to lease a passenger vehicle to the Renter. The agreed-upon passenger vehicle is specifically identified as a Toyota Camry, model of the year 2023, and is characterized by the License Plate Number: ABC123.

2. Rental Term

This Rental Contract is effective and its term runs beginning from the [Start Date], and continues until the [End Date], unless it is terminated earlier in a way that aligns with the stipulated terms and conditions outlined in this contract.

3. Rental Price

3.1 Rental Rate: The rental rate for the Vehicle will be $80 per day. This amount is payable before receiving the keys to the hired Vehicle and the signing of this Contract.

3.2 Payment Terms: Payment for the rental rate, as specified in subsection 3.1, is due before receiving the keys to the hired Vehicle and the signing of this Contract. Payment can be made through cash, credit card, or electronic bank transfer to the Rental Company's designated account. Any overdue payments may incur additional charges as outlined in the Company's policies, including but not limited to late fees, interest charges, and collection costs. It is the Renter's responsibility to ensure timely payment to avoid such penalties. Failure to make payment by the terms of this Contract may result in the Rental Company exercising its right to terminate the rental and take appropriate legal action to recover any outstanding amounts.

4. Security Deposit

Upon execution of this Contract, Renter will deposit with the Company the sum of $100 as security for the performance by Renter of the terms under this Contract and any damages caused by Renter, Renter's family, agents, employees, guests, or servants.

5. Repair and Maintenance

The renter must report any mechanical problems or damage to the Vehicle promptly to the Company. The company will provide the necessary servicing.

6. Insurance

The renter must provide and maintain primary vehicle liability, collision, and comprehensive insurance coverage for the full term of the rental.

6.1 Insurance Coverage: In addition to maintaining primary vehicle liability, collision, and comprehensive insurance coverage, Renter must provide proof of insurance to the Company upon request. Failure to maintain adequate insurance coverage throughout the rental period may result in the termination of this Contract and additional charges as per the Company's policies.

7. Use of Vehicle

The individual who is renting, hereafter referred to as "the Renter", has agreed to operate and utilize the rented vehicle strictly and exclusively for purposes that are personal and private. The Renter has no authorization to utilize the rented vehicle for any other purpose that does not fall within the category of personal and private use.

8. Return of Vehicle

At the end of the Rental Term, the Renter will return the Vehicle to the agreed return location clean and in good working order.

8.1 Vehicle Return Procedure: Upon returning the Vehicle at the end of the Rental Term, the Renter must ensure that it is cleaned and returned in good working order, as specified in Section 8. Any damages or discrepancies should be reported promptly to the Company to avoid additional charges or penalties.

9. Indemnification

Renter agrees to indemnify, protect, and hold harmless the Company from any losses, claims, demands, and causes of action of any sort that they may incur as a result of any violation by the Renter of this Contract, or any use by the Renter of the Vehicle.

10. Governing Law

This Contract will be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, with the understanding that any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Contract shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

11. Entire Contract

This Contract contains the entire Contract between the parties and there are no other promises or conditions in any other Contract whether oral or written.
