Freelance Copywriting Contract
This Freelance Copywriting Contract ("Contract") is entered into on March 22, 2050, ("Effective Date"), between, [Your Name], located at [Your Company Address] ("Client"), and [Freelance Copywriter's Name], located at [Freelance Copywriter's Address] ("Freelance Copywriter").
1. Scope of Work
The Client hereby engages the Freelance Copywriter to provide copywriting services for the creation of website content.
The scope of work shall include but not be limited to:
Developing compelling homepage copy.
Crafting engaging About Us page content.
Writing product/service descriptions.
Creating captivating landing page content.
Providing up to 3 rounds of revisions as necessary.
2. Payment Terms
In consideration for the services provided under this Contract, the Client shall pay the Freelance Copywriter a total fee of $1000 ("Total Fee").
Payment shall be made in the following manner:
A non-refundable deposit of $300 shall be due upon signing this Contract.
The remaining balance of $700 shall be paid upon completion and delivery of the website content.
3. Delivery Schedule
The Freelance Copywriter agrees to deliver the completed website content to the Client by April 5, 2050. Any delivery delays shall be communicated promptly to the Client, and mutually agreed-upon extensions may be granted.
4. Ownership and Rights
Upon receipt of full payment, all rights, title, and interest in the website content shall transfer to the Client. Until full payment is received, the Freelance Copywriter retains ownership of the work.
5. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of any proprietary or sensitive information shared during this engagement.
6. Termination
Either party may terminate this Contract with written notice if the other party breaches any material provision and fails to remedy such breach within 14 days of receiving written notice.
7. Governing Law
This Contract shall be governed by and construed following the laws of [State].
8. Entire Agreement
This Contract constitutes the entire agreement between the parties concerning the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior and contemporaneous agreements and understandings, whether oral or written.
