Freelance 3D Artist Contract

THIS CONTRACT ("Contract") is made and entered into this [Date], by and between [Client Name], hereinafter referred to as "Client," with an address at [Client Address], and [Your Name], hereinafter referred to as "Artist," with an address at [Your Address].

1. SERVICES

The Artist hereby agrees to provide 3D artistry services to the client as described in the Project Details document, which outlines the specific requirements, objectives, and deliverables of the project. This includes but is not limited to 3D modeling, animation, lighting, and texturing, as specified within the said document.

The Project Details are as follows:

1.1 Project Title: Virtual Reality Simulation for Training Purposes

1.2 Description: The project involves creating a virtual reality simulation to be used for employee training in a manufacturing environment. The simulation will include interactive 3D models of various machinery and equipment, realistic animations of manufacturing processes, dynamic lighting effects, and detailed textures to enhance the realism of the environment.

1.3 Key Deliverables:

3D models of industrial machinery and equipment.
Animated sequences demonstrating manufacturing processes.
Lighting design to simulate different working conditions.
Texturing adds depth and realism to the virtual environment.
The final product will be delivered on or before [Date], as mutually agreed upon by both parties.

2. COMPENSATION

As consideration for the services provided, the Client will pay the Artist a sum of [Payment Amount] for the completion of the project. Final payment will be due upon completion of the project and acceptance by the Client. 4. CONFIDENTIALITY

5. COPYRIGHT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All work products developed by the Artist under this Contract shall be owned by the Client. The Artist hereby assigns all rights, titles, and interest in such work products, including all copyright and intellectual property rights.

6. INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR

The Artist is an independent contractor. This Contract is not an employment contract, nor does it make the Artist an employee of the Client.

7. INDEMNITY

Each party agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the other party and its officers, directors, agents, affiliates, distributors, representatives, and employees from any third-party claims, demands, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees, costs, and expenses resulting from the indemnifying party's material breach of any duty, representation, or warranty under this Contract.

8. GOVERNING LAW AND VENUE

This Contract will be governed by and construed by the laws of [Governing Law], without giving effect to its conflict of laws principles. Any legal action or proceeding relating to this Contract shall be brought in the courts located in [Jurisdiction].
