Freelance Videography Contract

This Freelance Videography Contract (“Contract”) is made as of [Date] (the “Effective Date”), by and between [Client's Name] located at [Client's Address] (the "Client") and [Your Name] located at [Your Company Name] (the "Videographer").

Services

1. Description of Services

The Videographer agrees to provide the following videography services ("Services") to the Client:

Filming and capturing of the wedding ceremony and reception, including pre-ceremony preparations, ceremony proceedings, and reception festivities.
Editing and post-production work to create a highlight reel and a full-length feature film capturing the essence of the wedding day.

2. Date(s) of Service

The Services shall be performed on the following dates:

3. Location

The location(s) where the Services will be performed are as follows:

Payment Terms

In consideration of the Services provided by the Videographer, the Client agrees to pay the following fees:

Payment Schedule: A non-refundable deposit of [Deposit Amount] is due upon signing this Contract to secure the Videographer's services. The remaining balance of [Remaining Balance Amount] shall be paid in full no later than [Payment Due Date].
Late Payment: A late fee of 5% of the outstanding balance shall be applied for payments not received within 15 days of the Payment Due Date.

Deliverables

Upon completion of the Services, the Videographer agrees to provide the following deliverables to the Client:

A highlight reel video showcasing the most memorable moments of the wedding day, approximately 5-7 minutes in length.
A full-length feature film capturing the complete ceremony and reception proceedings, approximately 60-90 minutes in length.
Delivery of the final edited video files in high-definition digital format (MP4), delivered via secure online file transfer within 4-6 weeks after the wedding date.

Ownership Rights

The Client acknowledges and agrees that the Videographer shall retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the raw footage and final edited video footage ("Footage"). However, the Client is granted a non-exclusive license to use the Footage for personal and non-commercial purposes, including sharing with friends and family.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

Either party may cancel or reschedule the Services by providing written notice to the other party at least 30 days before the scheduled wedding date.
In the event of cancellation by the Client, the deposit paid shall be forfeited to compensate the Videographer for lost opportunities and commitments.

Liability

The Videographer shall not be liable for any damages, including but not limited to, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, arising out of or related to the performance or non-performance of the Services under this Contract.

Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential all information disclosed during the Services. This includes but is not limited to, client lists, project details, and financial information.

Governing Law

This Contract shall be governed by and construed by the laws of the State of [State], without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
