Mentorship Contract

This Mentorship Contract (“Agreement") is entered into this [Date] by and between the [Your Name] (hereinafter referred to as the "Mentor"), whose address is located at [Your Company Address], and [Mentee's Name] (hereinafter referred to as the "Mentee"), whose address is located at [Mentee's Address].

Nature and Scope

The Mentor agrees to provide mentorship and guidance to the Mentee on topics to be mutually agreed upon. The specific nature of the support and limits thereof will be detailed in the attached Mentorship Plan, to be mutually agreed upon and revised from time to time. This support is non-exclusive such that the Mentor and Mentee may enter into other mentorship relationships.

Term

This Agreement shall commence on [Start Date], and terminate on [End Date] unless otherwise terminated by either party. Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time, with or without cause, upon providing written notice at least [Number of Days] in advance.

Responsibilities of the Mentor

The Mentor agrees to devote a mutually agreed amount of time per month to foster a relationship of learning and development. This mentoring relationship will not involve the Mentor carrying out work-related activities on behalf of the Mentee. The Mentor agrees to maintain the confidentiality of the Mentee’s affairs unless explicit consent has been obtained.

Responsibilities of the Mentee

The Mentee will actively participate in the process by identifying areas where development is needed, taking action on learned behaviors, and working on suggested actions and competencies. The Mentee agrees to maintain the confidentiality of the Mentor's affairs unless explicit consent has been obtained.

Confidentiality

Both parties acknowledge that they may have access to information that, if revealed to others, may be harmful or detrimental to each other, and both parties agree to hold such information in strict confidence.

Indemnification

The Mentee shall indemnify and hold harmless the Mentor from any damages, liabilities, costs, losses, or expenses arising out of any claim, demand, or action by a third party arising out of any actions of service by the Mentor under this mentorship arrangement.

Governing Law

This Contract shall be governed by and construed by the laws of [Jurisdiction]. Any disputes arising out of or relating to this Contract shall be resolved through arbitration in [City, State].
